The ACCESS (Access to Community Care, Effective Services and Support) Center acts as the entry point for mental health services in Los Angeles County. Services include deployment of crisis evaluation teams, information and referrals, gatekeeping of acute inpatient psychiatric beds, interpreter services and patient transport. ACCESS Center also provides consumers compassionate, timely and reliable mental health services and information in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health and other providers in Los Angeles County. How to Apply

To receive specific services, or if client is in crisis call (800) 854-7771 to speak with call center staff. Staff will provide emergency evaluation, if needed, in order to determine eligibility and make an appropriate referral. Staff will receive calls from friends, family members, and schools, as well as from clients/applicants themselves.
