After School with Pomona Hope is an after-school program for student in first through twelfth grade. Each day includes a snack and recreation time, homework/reading time, customized tutoring in Math and Language Arts, Gym Games, and Computers or Art time. Participants rotate through the activities according to their grade and ability level. On Mondays and Tuesdays each student has a half hour to work with a volunteer on their individual lesson plans. High school students have the opportunity to mentor K-8th grade students in the Pomona's Hope After School Program.
- For Pomona area students in 9th through 12th grade.
- Students must take tests in math and language arts before beginning services. The test results are used to develop customized lesson plans to target the area where the student has the most difficulty.

How to Apply
High school students can call Jeff at (909) 921-3618 x3 to RSVP for the next monthly registration meeting. Students do NOT need to bring anything to the meeting. A registration packet will be handed out. The completed packet, including parent signature and student immunization record, must be submitted before the student can be enrolled.
There is no wait list for high school students.
