Description

The Harvey Mudd College (HMC) Homework Hotline is an over the phone tutoring service for students in grades 4th-12th grade who need assistance with their mathematics and science assignments. Homework hotline tutors encourage students to be active participants in learning by asking guiding questions and encouraging them to use their prior knowledge and other available resources to solve the problem. Tutors help student callers with one homework question, then encourage students to try solving similar problems on their own. Students can call the hotline again if they get stuck on another question.

For more information about the Homework Hotline, contact a program administrator by calling 909-607-4015 or emailing homeworkhotline@hmc.edu. Program administrators are available weekdays from 8:00am-5:00pm.
