STAR House Transitional Shelter provides a secure, confidential location where domestic violence survivors can achieve safety, increased self-sufficiency, and permanent independence from their batterer. Services include a full range of integrated supportive services that include treatment for substance use and mental health disorders, in addition to comprehensive case management.

- For women age 18 and older whose lives have been disrupted by trauma and domestic violence, drug and/ or alcohol addiction, mental health conditions, complex medical conditions, or homelessness.
- Children (12 years old and under) may accompany mother.
- Program can accommodate 34 women and children at one time.
