BRIDGES provides community mental health services for children and adults. TruStart services include:

-Psychiatric care and medication
-Case Management/benefit establishment

-Prevention and Early Intervention Services

-Crisis Intervention

The program conducts outreach efforts to target young adults who are transitioning toward independence and in need of mental health support.

-For ages 6 and older.
-Must have Medi-Cal coverage.
-Must have diagnosed mental illness, with or without concurrent substance abuse.
-Must be a resident of the San Fernando Valley.

How to Apply

Referrals are accepted from a variety of community sources, including medical providers, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, schools, and home settings. You may also self refer by calling 818-657-0411. You will be screened for eligibility and either scheduled for an appointment or referred to an alternate provider. There is generally no wait list. At your first appointment, you must provide a photo ID, Medi-Cal card, and Social Security card.
